Support: Create a PCWin Recovery boot CD 'The not so easy way'...

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are not familiar with creating a boot CD from an
ISO CD image file--
follow these instructions!
Do not use Roxio, Nero, or any other CDROM burning software that you normally use,
unless you know, exactly how to burn an ISO image file to create a boot CD!
If you simply burn a CD without choosing the correct options, you will waste a
perfectly good CD and become frustrated because the computer will not boot from
the CD!
Step 1. Download the PCWin Recovery zip file.
Use the link in the email message
you received and save the PCWin Recovery zip file to your computer.
Step 2. Unzip the PCWin Recovery zip file.
Windows 7, XP and Vista include support for extracting zip files. Below are
instructions for using the Windows built-in support for extracting zip files.
If you use WinZip, PKZip, or any other unzip utility follow that software publisher's
instructions for extracting zip files.
Use the mouse to right click on the PCWin Recovery zip file and choose ''Extract All...''.

Click the 'Next >' button to continue. See image below.
Use the 'Browse...' button to select a folder to extract the file or leave the
default directory. Click the 'Next >' button to continue. See image
below.
NOTE: Make a note of where you extract the PCWin Recovery zip file! The
extracted file will have an ISO file extension.
Click the 'Finish' button to extract the PCWin Recovery file. See image below.
Step 3. Create (burn) the PCWin Recovery boot CD.
Download the program BurnCDCC.

The information below outlines the steps to use BurnCDCC to create the PCWin
Recovery boot CD.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use Nero or Roxio unless you know how to burn an ISO CD
image file!!! Simply burning the file to a CD is not sufficient and will result in
a wasted CD that will not boot your computer!
Double click the BurnCDCC.exe to start BurnCDCC.

Click the 'Browse' button (highlighted in red) and select the
PCWin Recovery ISO file.
Put a new blank CD in the CDROM drive and press the 'Start' button to create a
PCWin Recovery boot CD.
BurnCDCC ejects the CD tray and displays a message once it completes creating
the PCWin Recovery boot CD.
Verify that you've correctly created the PCWin Recovery boot CD. Open Windows
Explorer and view the CD file and folder contents. The files and folders should
be
similar to the image below.
Next make sure that your computer is set to boot (start) from the CDROM drive.
