Boot from CD
Set your computer to Boot from CDROM drive
To use the PCWin Recovery Tools boot CD your computer must be set to boot
from the CD in the CDROM drive.
The process of setting your computer to boot from the CDROM may require changing
your computer's BIOS settings. The computer's BIOS settings control the order of
the computer's boot devices (hard drive, CDROM drive, USB thumb drive, etc.).
Your computer may already be set to boot from
the CDROM drive
Before setting your computer's BIOS settings, try to boot from the CDROM drive.
Put the CD in the CDROM drive and restart the computer. As the computer restarts
look at the screen you may be prompted to press any key to boot from the CDROM drive.
Press any key to boot from CD or similar message press the 'j' key or any other
letter key on the keyboard.
If you computer boots from the PCWin Recovery Tools boot CD you will see the PCWin Recovery Tools launcher.

What if my computer does not boot from the CDROM drive?
It is not difficult to set your computer's BIOS settings. You will need to press
a key (usually F2, F1, ESC, F12, etc) during the computers post. This web page describes
